The Eastman SB57/v is a premium handcrafted solid-body electric guitar that faithfully recreates the iconic "Black Beauty" aesthetic and tone of late-1950s single-cut classics, now executed with a striking antique varnish finish in black for an authentically aged look and feel. The lightweight one-piece okoume body is topped with a solid carved maple cap, delivering exceptional resonance, warmth, and sustain. A set one-piece okoume neck with ebony fingerboard ensures smooth playability and stability, while custom-aged Lollar Imperial humbuckers provide rich, articulate PAF-style tones with outstanding vintage character, clarity, and dynamics. Relic'd antique gold Gotoh hardware, CTS pots with Orange Drop capacitors, and 50s-style wiring complete this boutique instrument that offers heirloom quality and performance at a fraction of true vintage pricing. Each SB57/v is meticulously built and finished by hand, then shipped in a hardshell case.
