Description
The Eastman SB54/TV Limited Edition is a 2025 limited-run tribute to the classic 1950s single-cutaway solidbody, finished in a striking Gold Top with a Truetone Vintage Gloss nitrocellulose-style topcoat that gives a subtly aged, played-in appearance. A solid carved maple top sits on a one-piece Okoume body and neck, delivering a balanced blend of warmth, clarity, and relatively light weight while the full ivoroid binding on the body and neck adds elegant visual detail. The ebony fingerboard carries pearl crown inlays and a 12" radius for comfortable fretting, and the Traditional Even “C” neck profile offers an even, familiar feel.
At the heart of the instrument is a carefully chosen pair of Lollar P-90s: a Staple P-90 in the neck position for creamy, defined midrange and a custom-aged/wound Soapbar P-90 in the bridge for lively bite and dynamics. Premium hardware and electronics—including a Gotoh Relic bridge and tuners, Faber locking wraparound tailpiece, CTS pots, Sprague Orange Drop capacitors, and Gavitt braided wiring—support reliable performance and authentic tone. The result is a versatile, high-quality instrument well suited to blues, rock, soul, and beyond, supplied with a hardshell case.
